Evening Standard and Jacko… come on, really?

During the tube strike I questioned whether the Evening Standard was really trying hard enough to shed it’s image as a reactionary, scaremongering organ of evil…

After all, the ‘sorry’ campaign was trying to make you believe they’d start trying to be a responsible organ of journalism.

It would appear to be a hard habit to give up… I mean, did they think that just having the latest on Michael Jackson’s death wouldn’t sell enough copies or something? “Come on lads, what’s our angle here…”
