Measurement Camp; sharing the love

I finally (FINALLY!) made it along to my second Measurement Camp this morning… it turns out that I haven’t been to one since August

Once again, I hope I contributed something useful to the team, and didn’t just sit there and suck inspiration out…

…but in case I did, here’s a subsequent contribution to the world of measurement sharing from me.

There was a great 15 minute talk from Giles @ Brandwatch on how they set about pulling information from across this humongous, amorphous data pool that is the internets and can start turning it into useful visualisations of the data that people can use. 

As I explained a couple of days back, I love visualisations.  Which is probably what led me to create this for module 4 of the IPA Excellence diploma last year:

To understand more about it, and where the data might come from, how companies would use it and all of that sort of stuff, you probably need to read the essay below.
