Twitter; a means to an end @ SXSW
I’m increasingly fascinated by the potential Twitter has to allow people to come together… on it’s own it’s good, but when someone takes it as a set of building blocks to create something, it’s even greater.
Which is like this SXSW thing created by Pepsico, shared by Mark in our NYC office, which is tracking all activity around the celebration of Music/Film/Tech that happens annually in Austin, Texas…
It’s a living, breathing real time embodiment of a community that’s suddenly erupted in a city, and will disappear next week sometime.
Like Lego, someone’s twitter stream is just a block on its own, but combined with lots of other blocks in can create something magical.
