So much of what branding and marketing does focuses on the big stuff. Get the central part of the campaign right, and just rush through the little bits after it’s done.
And often, it’s the little things that can slip through the net, and you don’t get them done as there’s other big things that need to happen next.
But at the customer end it can be the little things, the things that other brands didn’t have time for, which makes all the difference.
This stuff in Pret A Manger today just made me smile while I waited for my coffee…
…and I just started thinking that any company that has the time, inclination and attitude to do little things like this has got all the big stuff sorted out beyond belief. It’s just a really reassuring thing for a customer to see I think.]]>
