Ever wondered how much it would cost to actually buy the presents from the 12 days of Christmas song? No, I suspected not.
Well, for some reason PNC Finance in the good ol’ USA has been tracking the cost for the last 25 years (actually it was a tongue in cheek way to attract clients’ attention originally, so it’s not entirely irrelevant to what we do. And quite forward thinking for the marketers of 1984). So, if you’ve $81,608.51 to spare this Christmas, why not treat your loved one to the real 12 days of Christmas? Watch out for the price of swans though – it seems to have rocketed over the last 12 months (be thankful, then, that the cost of geese is going the other way).
